Brompton ralph, church of st mary
As building contractors we undertook restoration works to the Church of St Mary in Brompton Ralph in June 2013. This work consisted of installing a new rainwater system in the existing church/graveyard including new rainwater goods and new underground surface water drainage. We were also asked to carry out stone restoration and strip the entire roof and re-slate the Nave, Chancel, North Aisle, Vestry and Porch Roofs as well as making good all the parapet’s and associated roofing.
On completion of the work, we received the following kind letter of reference...
Dear Paul and Warren
On Sunday I attended a service at the church to celebrate the newly completed restoration works, conducted by the Bishop of Taunton.
Everybody was delighted with the finished result, no rainwater having penetrated the roof with its many lead lined junctions despite the recent torrential rain and strong winds.
This was a very happy and relaxed contract with the works being carried out to a very high standard.
Throughout the works, I had no concerns regarding the quality of the work and I thank yourselves and your team on site for helpful constructive discussions about the best way forward when problems arose. The final account was also very fair.
I hope we meet again.
